SEO Friendly Content writing tips

The first and foremost preference when working on content should be that you're writing for people not for search engines. Think about the words users would type to find your pages and include those words on your site.

Choosing Appropriate Keywords: For friendly article writing for SEO, it is very important to use suitable keywords. Hence, before writing any article, invest adequate time to think about appropriate keywords. For instance, if your article content is about “ways to lose weight”, you can consider using keywords such as “weight loss” or “tips to lose weight”. Ensure that your article title contains the appropriate keyword. Also, include a suitable keyword at the beginning of the article, preferably in the first sentence.

Title Writing: You need to be very careful while choosing the title for your article. An article on the Internet will be easily found by the readers if its title is appropriate and catchy. The title is the part of the article that makes the first impression. The title should have the ability to hold the attention of the readers and make them read the rest of the article. Also, your title has to give the readers an idea about the article content.

Condensing: Your article has to be easy to read and understand. Avoid using complicated words and sentences. Also, keep your article compact and to the point instead of making it unnecessarily lengthy. Remember, a lengthy paragraph can be too boring to read, so ensure that you write short paragraphs.

Using Keywords Properly: An article, which is overloaded with keywords, is known as a keyword-stuffed article. While this method of keyword-stuffing was used previously to obtain a higher search engine ranking, it has become outdated today and doesn't add any value to the article. You should keep a keyword density of approximately 2–4% in your article. This means that if your article is 500 words, you shouldn't write the keyword more than 8–15 times. Ensure that you use the keywords wisely. Instead of using all the keywords in one paragraph, scatter them throughout the article.

Staying Innovative and Original: This is one of the most important factors you need to consider while writing an SEO-friendly article. Avoid copying ideas from other articles on the Internet. Use your own creative ideas to write unique and interesting content. Search engines take a dim view of content that is used in numerous web sites. They can consider it spamming so they tend to drop the placement of such web sites or completely eliminate them from the search engine.

Write relevant content: Search engines have ways of recognizing when a page is not really about what it might seem to be about. If you're playing games with your content to try and fool search engines, it will eventually be found and you'll lose rank or even be banned. It's much better to write content that is relevant to your topic.
Put conclusions at the beginning. Your keywords to be denser towards the top of your article. If your page is about snow leopards, then the first mention of snow leopards should be in the title and first sentence. Don't start using synonyms for your keyword phrase until the second or third paragraph.

Make your links part of the copy: This is especially important if your links include your keyword phrases. If you've linked to the Snow Leopard Trust on your snow leopard page, make sure that you link the words "Snow Leopard Trust" and not something unrelated like "click here".
Include internal sub-headings and they should include your keyword phrase: Use heading tags for your sub-heads, and repeat your keyword phrase.

  1. A worthy article requires a thorough research on the targeted keyword topic. It will imply credibility on the part of the writer which will make him popular on that field.
